What is PCGUARDTM?

PCGUARDTM is a unit which, when connected to an alarm system, monitors your computers, laptops, network printers and routers.

PCGUARDTM is installed on your current network infrastructure. There are no extra devices, looping cables or gadgets installed onto or into your computers.

Each computer represents a zone on the alarm system. When a computer network cable gets disconnected from the network, PCGUARDTM will detect this disconnection, and if the zone has not been deactivated on the alarm panel, the alarm will be triggered.

You can add PCGUARDTM to your current alarm system, but we prefer, (for security reasons), to install PCGUARDTM with its own dedicated alarm system with all the functionalities of a normal alarm system. (Connecting to your current office alarm will depend on the number of PC's and the number of open zones on your current alarm system.)

This way your computers get monitored 24 hours. So even when your office alarm is deactivated during office working hours, your PCGUARDTM still monitors the computers.

When a computer gets disconnected from the network, PCGUARDTM will detect this disconnection, and if the zone has not been deactivated on the alarm panel, the alarm will be triggered. Even when your computer is switched off, it is still being monitored.

PCGUARDTM does not work with electricity, so even when your electricity is switched off, your computers are being monitored. From a visible point in your office, you cannot see that your computers are being monitored. Because PCGUARDTM works in connection with an alarm, you can still link your alarm to an armed response unit. We strongly recommend this.

It is easy to install and works in conjunction with an alarm system and your current network.
